This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your personal information when you use our website at valuna.app, join our waitlist, or use our mobile application and services (collectively, the "Platform").

3. Alias Mode & Privacy

Valuna is designed with privacy as a core principle. Our Alias Mode allows you to participate in the Valuna community — posting, buying, selling and trading — under a chosen alias that is completely separate from your personal identity on other social platforms.

Your alias is visible to other Valuna users. Your real name, email address, and shipping details are never displayed publicly and are only shared with counterparties to a transaction to the extent required to complete that transaction (for example, a seller receiving a delivery address).

Valuna staff may access your real identity for fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution purposes.

Valuna stores your data on secure cloud servers located in Australia and the United States. We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period thereafter as required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as dispute resolution.

Some of our service providers and grading partners (including TAG Grading, which is based in the United States) are located overseas. When we transfer your personal information outside Australia, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives a level of protection comparable to that provided under the Australian Privacy Principles.

By using the Platform and submitting cards for grading, you acknowledge and consent to the transfer of your information to overseas recipients where necessary to provide the service.
